These toys were part of an animation project, called
'The Lumplies from Lumpland'. The story concerns itself
with three creatures who live deep within the earth and are
miserable because of the lack of sunlight. The lumplies were
made out of felt, buttons and colored thread. Backgrounds
were created using patterned cloth and paper remnants.
